Eurydice and Orpheus
another one of my poems (enjoy)
Eurydice, dancing in the meadows
White dress, spring crown
The sun is burning, the snakes are slithering
The beautiful bride
Sink in the music
Feel the love, Drown in it
How cruel life was
The earth became hollow
Venomous, Morose
But don’t worry
Your lover will play his lyre
And crawl on hell
Too much love
Brings impatience
His eyes missed your pale skin
So he turns back
To keep himself sane
And as the legends say
The Orpheus who doesn’t turn back
Is one
Who didn’t love Eurydice.
