Corner in my heart
Corner in my Heart
There is a corner in my heart,
Where bitterness tears love apart
Weekdays, tight clothes, endless fights
Lizards, mosquitoes, sleepless nights
Fake friends, old songs, marriage bells
,and peaches with their sticky smell
The list grows long, the walls stretch wide
No place for joy to slip inside
The organ of love filled with hate
Call someone; let my heart be sedate,
Love is rare, Love is cruel.
A twisted lie with broken rules
It whispers shame, it breeds pain
A poison flowing in my veins
Hate is easy, Hate is pure
The absolute truth that doesn’t endure.
But I am sharp, I know the game
I hide my hate, I lock the violent flame
Yet it spills against my will
A creepy shadow, dark and still
And so I ask “Will you go?”
It only laughs and says No
Forgiveness and acceptance make no sound,
Just watching, as I fall down.
